First and foremost, our customer’s satisfaction, happiness and intranet success is most important to us. So when a client comes to us, dissatisfied with their current intranet and in search of a new intranet solution, we go above and beyond to make sure their experience is as stress-free as possible. That’s exactly what happened with one of our clients, Diversified Search. The organization was unhappy with their previous intranet as it became too costly and way too difficult to administer themselves.

A Temporary Intranet Solution

Diversified Search has grown and evolved since its inception 40 years ago. The organization now has over 100 employees and eight office locations throughout the United States. With this growth, Diversified Search realized they needed an intranet solution that would help employees connect and share information across the organization’s eight office locations. That’s when the organization purchased their SharePoint intranet in hopes that it would achieve this. However, after a long and rocky 18 months, Millie Francis, Vice President of Database & Technology at Diversified Search, became frustrated with the extensive time, money and resources required to administer SharePoint.

Francis considers herself to be fairly tech-savvy, but she was never able to get SharePoint to operate the way she desired. She had to hire a third-party resource just to make simple changes. This quickly caused SharePoint to be too expensive to continue administering. Francis explained:

Not only has the new intranet, fondly named DivShare, helped employees, it has significantly increased time cost-savings for Diversified Search. Making changes went from taking days to taking just minutes and it has eliminated company-wide emails. Francis shares the organizations ROI saying:
