Last July, we posted a blog called Intranet Design 101 which offered four useful tips on how to improve your intranets functionality, design and navigation. Here are some of the ways that you can be creative with our turnkey, out of the box intranet software: Tip #1 – Make use of new features When you buy Intranet Connections software, you have a fleet of developers providing new features and functionality to your intranet on a regular basis so take advantage of this! Building your intranet is like using a recipe. You want to make the final product enjoyable, and to do so, you need to ensure that all of the ingredients are well balanced. But like all good intranets, over time they can get bogged down by the sheer volume of content distributed throughout the site. Sound familiar? It may be time to do a spring clean on your intranet. A spring clean should renew, reconnect and revive. Renew If your users are complaining that their search for policy 50602 results in a file added in 2002 that could be a clue to outdated information. It happens
