Every year, the Worldwide Intranet Challenge (WIC) conducts an intranet benchmarking survey. The online survey allows participants to anonymously benchmark their intranet. The best part is…it’s FREE!
Founder of the Worldwide Intranet Challenge, Andrew Wright, created the WIC survey to give participants the opportunity to quickly and easily obtain and benchmark feedback about their intranets from end users.
Each year, more than 200 organizations participate in the WIC survey. Some notable organizations that have participated are Deloitte, Coca-Cola, Emirates, Swisscom and Nestle, which have all benefited from the WIC survey. What Are the Benefits of Intranet Benchmarking?
There are several benefits to benchmarking your intranet, including:
- Recognition for providing your employees with an effective intranet.
- Tips and best practices from other intranet benchmark participants.
- Evidence for a business case to fund intranet improvements.
- Measurable goals to provide your intranet team.
- Defined ideas for intranet improvement activities.
Your intranet will be benchmarked against 200 other organizations and WIC. You will then be provided with a copy of the results within two weeks of completion, so you may anonymously compare your feedback with other participating organizations. Through these benchmarking results you will quickly be able to identify your strengths and weaknesses as well as gain ideas for improvements.
