Document Security

Document security is flexible and robust. Set role-based permissions to limit access to specific document areas, or set up an extranet environment whereby outside users will not see any internal intranet documents. By assigning users and/or groups the ability to manage their content on the site, you can delegate information and document management and responsibilities throughout the organization.

Built in Content Approval Management

Content Approval allows administrators to assign individual users to manage the flow of Documents uploaded to the site. Approval Managers can approve or decline content and send comments to the publisher. You may assign unlimited Managers to assist with the workflow of your business systems for each of your intranet applications. Designate the order of notification and approval for each Manager and view historical approval data. Approval Managers have a handy "My Approvals" tab on the intranet home page, allowing them to quickly review items pending their approval. This feature is optional and may be enabled or disabled at the category level within the various areas of the site based on your requirements.

Multiple File Upload

Administrators have the ability to perform multiple file uploads for Documents, Policies, and the Graphics Gallery application. This is handy when the site is first installed and you are wishing to publish a large quantity of documents or graphics. Uploaded documents can be indexed with the click of one button for full text searching.
