Core Intranet Tools | Document Management

BACK
There is a lot of power in having a centralized document management system built right into your intranet software. Our incredibly easy-to-use Document Management tool is a robust application that puts all of your documents in one spot. You control the structured tree navigation (or choose a flat view), and document profile screens give employees detailed information including a friendly file name, title, file type, size, short description, document versioning, tagging, notes about documents or version updates, and last revision date / author. You also control flexible and powerful security and user/group permissions that can be applied on a per folder basis - including content approval and workflow options.

Full-text searching means that along with the document meta data, all text within the documents are fully searchable. Search localized within the Documents application, or site wide through the Intranet Connections advanced search feature with keyword highlighting and ability to filter searches.

Documents also features employee commenting and rating, which is optional. If enabled, you can gain some great insight into the effectiveness of your corporate documents, or use the rating system as confirmation that documents have been read by your employees.
