Provide access to your intranet for users without a login, such as extranet users, non-employees, seasonal employees, etc. using Secure/Anonymous Access. Secure/Anonymous Access enables users to Sign-On to your intranet without having to assign them an individual username.

Provide Easy Access

For large organizations who have many part-time and seasonal staff, creating intranet logins for each of these employees can be time consuming. However, it is important for these employees to have access to the intranet for the many resources that are only made available on the intranet. With Secure/Anonymous Access, you can enable part-time or seasonal staff who may not have an individual username to gain access to the important information and resources your intranet.

One-Time Users Access

Another great use for Secure/Anonymous Access is for one-time users, for such cases as temporary or substitute workers. Rather than going through the hassle of creating a username and login for a one-time user, you can use Secure/Anonymous Access to grant them access to your intranet for the day. This ensures they have complete access to all the resources on your intranet just for that day and not permanent full-time access. 


Lock Down & Secure Areas

You can lock down specific areas of your intranet that may contain sensitive or confidential information. Secure/Anonymous Access allows you to secure parts of your intranet making them private or invisible to users. However, if you decide to lock down areas of the site, keep in mind Super Administrators are still able to see all these areas. For example, the Accounting Department can decide to secure content on their department page only to Accounting and Executive Users, but hide this content from other Departments.
